About the work

The Artist and Curator Ernesto Pujol describes Adam as "a quiet colorist, hinting at complicated mythologies and shadow physicality". "His field is one of dreams", Pujol explains, "of an archetypal unconscious, unapologetically mined and reenacted for those that think that we are too old to be aroused or afraid again."

About the artist

Born in Miami, Adam moved to Brooklyn in 1999 where he later earned his MFA at Pratt Institute. His interests include religious syncretism, the rising tide of global warming, disposable technology, and searching out hidden truths in the inherited mythologies we collectively take for granted. He now lives and works in Philadelphia, PA and New York, NY, spends the majority of his time at a safe distance, and has exhibited his work nationally and internationally.
