Strat Guitar Pickguard
Autographed by Randy Meisner
This guitar pickguard signed by Eagles founding member and bassist, Randy Meisner comes with a Beckett Bas Certificate Of Authenticity.
Meisner began his career with a brief stint in Poco. He quit before the group's debut record was released in 1969 and spent the next few years performing with Rick Nelson's Stone Canyon Band and doing session work (he contributed bass to "Country Road" and "Blossom" on James Taylor's Sweet Baby James album, among other records). He eventually wound up in Linda Ronstadt's backing band with Henley, Frey and Bernie Leadon, from which the Eagles rose.
Meisner left the group in 1977 citing "exhaustion," almost certainly due to the group's constant in-fighting. He worked as a solo act over the next decades, though he did reunite with his Eagles bandmates in 1998 for the group's induction in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
