Weekend Stay at Home Woodstock, VT

Enjoy a long weekend to remember at this wonderfully updated 1840s home in Woodstock, Vermont.

The house is located one block from the Woodstock Village Green, easy walking distance to all the town's restaurants, shops and cultural attractions including the Woodstock Inn's luxurious day spa. For outdoor adventure, the five-acre Faulkner Park is at the end of the street. The park serves as a trail head for the hiking trails of Mount Tom, a 500 acre preserved forest and connects to the Appalachian Trail for longer, more ambitious hikes. Downhill skiing and mountain biking options include Suicide Six (a five minute drive) and Killington and Okemo (20 minute drives).

The spacious home sleeps eight and features a large living room with wood burning fireplace, library, dining room, bathroom and a kitchen/family room with a second wood burning fireplace. Upstairs there are four bedrooms including a large master suite with a king size bed, two bedrooms with pairs of twin beds (both share a hallway bathroom), and a bedroom with a queen bed and en suite bath. The attic has been converted into one large playroom with a very large flat screen tv and comfortable seating for watching movies. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and there is off street parking for several cars.

Home is available for three-night stay between September 2020 and December 15, 2020 (certain dates may not be available including Thanksgiving 2020). Dates must be cleared and agreed upon in advance by property owner.
