THIS BID IS FOR TWO SEATS
After a season of raiding and plundering we have a feast of Icelandic/Viking delicacies to offer our guests. Dinner will be prepared by Margo, a 35-year resident of Iceland, and her husband, Jan, a Netherlands native. Three Irish slaves, Tina, Neil and Linda will be on hand as serving staff. Dinner will be held at the Viking Settlement in the Whitefish Fjord, at Casa Del Lago, a mansion on Lake Drive designed by Armin Frank for his mother, Ella, the niece of Frederick Pabst. Standing on Lake Michigan at the end of Silver Spring Drive, the Spanish Revival home with its stucco exterior and red-tiled roof is easily identified. The interior is true to the Spanish Revival style with tiled floors, exposed ceiling beams, decorative metal work, leaded glass windows, various stylistic arches, and numerous nooks and crannies. The history of this beautiful home is replete with intrigue and a colorful mix of characters.
