Raised in Middle Tennessee in a low stress, hormone and antibiotic free environment; Akaushi, a Japanese Wagyu breed, is readily identified as Highly marbled, Prime Beef. It's naturally higher concentrations of Monounsaturated Fatty Acids are a healthy addition to our diet and is a natural source of Oleic Acid providing a buttery, tender meat.
This is a half a cow and the winner will work with the butcher on which cuts and finishing you desire.
All of the cattle are grain fed in the final year before they are available for harvest. This beef is coveted by award-winning chefs and served in top-rated restaurants throughout the world.
