Student Chromebook Program
To succeed in today's schools, students need access to technology. But unlike more affluent students, whose access to a computer is taken for granted, Harmony's students do not have computers in their homes. To bridge this "opportunity gap," Mike Carioscio, Chief Information Officer at Oak Park and River Forest High School, has offered to help us create a computer proficiency program. Students will develop skills to help them succeed in school and in the workplace, including learning to use computers in a safe and responsible manner.
Thanks to Mike, he was able to secure 30 Chrome books for us from OPRH High School. Now all we need is the software and applications.
Chrome books software for 30 students = $5,000
Yes, I'll help Harmony's students gain access to technology.
