2004 Rene Geoffroy Millesime Extra Brut. This is strikingly beautiful . It bursts from the glass with aromas of pear, almond, honey, orange, and spices. The 2004 is 71% Pinot Noir and 29% Chardonnay. 93 points.

2008 Pierre Gimonnet & Flis Oenophile1er Cru Extra Brut. Here is an elegant champagne that is clear, bright, and fresh with aromas of apple, lemon, and hazelnuts. It is a stimulating aperitif with beautiful structure. 92 points.

2002 Philipponnat Clos des Goisses. This is simply stunning and is pure harmony in the glass. With aromas and flavors of pear, apricot, flowers, red berries and spices, it has breathtaking balance. 96 points.

2006 Cedric Bouchard Roses de Jeanne Blanc de Blancs La Haute Lemble. This is an absolutely elegant champagne with fruitful aromas and palate. A wonderful expression of Blanc de Blancs. 96 points.

2002 Godme Pere & Fils Millesime Brut. This is a beautiful champagne from the excellent 2002 vintage. This small producer is known for balance and structure. 93 points.

NY Ulysse Collin Extra Brut Blanc de Noirs les Maillons. This is a sweetly perfumed champagne with freesia and winter pear and white peach on the nose. The palate is well structured and very well balanced. 91 points
