When you hear of the Holy Land, you probably think of the area surrounding the Jordan river. However, there is an area about an hour north of Cedarburg that is also known as the Holyland. This area is known for its agricultural landscape, close-knit communities, and deep-rooted Roman Catholicism that was brought to the area by Germans who settled there in the mid-1800s. This area is also unofficially known as the supper club capital of Wisconsin and is where the Schwarzs and the Stenzs grew up. We'd like to take you on a culinary tour of some our favorite places that we have frequented and, in some cases, even worked. We will be renting a limo bus that will pick everyone up and drive them North. Once there, we will be stopping at multiple supper clubs and bars to sample some of their most famous offerings. There will be a few fun surprises and activities along the way, along with plenty of refreshments throughout the trip. Let us be your tour guides as we travel down memory lane to some of the best supper clubs in the Holyland (Wisconsin). Winner may choose May 9th or May 16th for the tour.
