Take the trip of a lifetime to Tanzania! Join the UW Educational Travel team and experience migrating wildebeest and zebra, countless gazelle, elusive cheetah, magnificent herds of elephants, leopards, giraffe, ostrich, numerous prides of lion, and 500 species of birds. Valued at $8,000 per person, this trip filled almost immediately so these are the last 2 slots of 24 available! Travel dates are June 11-24, 2020.

This all-inclusive, guided trip includes your round-trip international airfare; domestic flight; all lodging, meals, park fees, and ground transfers; guides; gratuities; and services.

Stops during the two week epic African safari include:

2 nights in Arusha National Park, complete with a game drive and canoe safari on Momella Lake;

2 nights in a lodge along Lake Manyarain in Tarangire National Park;

3 nights in the Karatu Highlands, including a full day in one of the most unique locations in the world, the incomparable Ngorongoro Crater, and a visit to the nomadic Hadza tribe; and

4 nights in the vast Serengeti National Park, where you'll spend four unforgettable nights camping in the bush.

All are welcome on this trip! Although there is a minimal amount of walking, Tanzania is nevertheless a rugged land. All transfers will be in four-wheel-drive vehicles with driver-guides. No vehicle will contain more than five travelers, so everyone will have a window seat and plenty of room in the rooftop opening for game viewing. Long travel distances, but some time spent on dusty, bumpy roads is inevitable, and a vital part of the adventure.

Personal tips and drinks are extra, as is your visa. Travel insurance is required. For a full description, visit: https://continuingstudies.wisc.edu/classes/travel-tanzania/
