Guided Fly Fishing on Lake Taneycomo

A guided fly (or spin) fishing trip for 2 on Lake Taneycomo in Branson, MO.

You'll fish for rainbow and brown trout from a hand-built, wooden drift boat based on a design from the 1930's.

Your excursion includes an experienced guide, all fly fishing gear, casting instruction (if needed), soft drinks/water and a light lunch.

If you would like to bring waders and wading boots, the guide and you can scout for wade opportunities as water conditions allow.

Also included are flies from Hargrove!

Lake Taneycomo was formed with the completion of Powersite Dam in 1913. It was originally a section of the White River, and although Taneycomo is now technically a lake, it retains the look and feel of a river. When the Table Rock Dam was completed at Taneycomo's headwaters in 1958, the nature of the lake changed. Taneycomo's water now comes from the bottom of Table Rock Lake, making it a cold water lake.
