Take home a bespoke soprano ukulele, hand-crafted by Brad Simon of Undermountain Instruments! Perfect for the experienced player, as well as the novice.

The instrument features mother of pearl inlay of birds and K&K Aloha Twin Pick-Ups (for amplification); hard case included.

Undermountain designs and builds fine ukuleles and guitars in the Berkshire Hills of Western Massachusetts. Each instrument is individually handcrafted using traditional techniques and high-quality components and materials, including a broad range of exotic and locally-sourced tonewoods. The instruments are hand-voiced by the luthier to accentuate the individual characteristics and unique tonal qualities of the wood. We make all sizes of ukuleles from Soprano to Baritone, and focus on smaller guitars including parlor and OM styles. With a wide range of customizable options, our instruments are typically built to order based on our customers' preferences.

Undermountain is owned and operated by B. Scott Simon, a member of the Guild of American Luthiers, the Association of Stringed Instrument Artisans, the Ukulele Guild of Hawaii, and the Berkshire Woodworkers Guild. Brad has been fortunate to study with master guitar-makers Sergei De Jonge, Robbie O'Brien, Charles Fox, and Scott Hausmann (at the Whetstone School of Lutherie).
