When the Cape's only shellfish hatchery in Dennis almost closed in 2015, the Fishermen's Alliance joined forces with other community partners to rebuild Aquacultural Research Corporation (A.R.C.). A.R.C. is the largest hatchery in the Northeast, providing 80% of shellfish seed in the state. It plays a vital role in local and regional shellfish communities by providing the highest quality shellfish- from seed to table - to growers, chefs and reef-builders across the country. Locally, it is a critical resource for 1,400 commercial shellfish fishermen and growers and 14,000 recreational shellfish fishermen on the Cape alone. This is your chance to have a private tour of the state of the art, shellfish hatchery for up to 20 people.

At the end of your tour, bring the taste of summer to your home and enjoy a catered Cape Cod clambake and raw bar for 20 courtesy of Backside Bakes and one-hour serviced open bar courtesy of Cape Cod Mobile Mixers to complete this unique experience. (Open bar includes bartending service, mixers, two cases of craft beer and one case of assorted wines.)
