Commemorative Auction

In honor of Earth Day, MLS has collaborated with adidas and Parley to support Parley for the Oceans. During Week 8 matches, MLS players from all 24 Clubs will wear special adidas kits, built of technical yarns made using Parley Ocean Plastic. Names, numbers, and sponsor heat seals are also made from recycled plastic. The MLS Parley initiative will execute as a key component within MLS WORKS Greener Goals campaign, where League-wide efforts will be conducted on and off the field to highlight Major League Soccer's commitment to environmental sustainability. The Chicago Fire will support the MLS Parley initiative and wear these eco-friendly adidas kits during the match on April 20th at home vs. the Colorado Rapids. Each jersey will be autographed by the corresponding player. Note: Goalkeepers will NOT be wearing adidas Parley jerseys.

The auction will end at the conclusion of halftime of the Fire match on Saturday, April 20th (approximately 12:45 p.m. central time).

All proceeds benefit the Chicago Fire Foundation to support the award winning P.L.A.Y.S. Program. The P.L.A.Y.S. (Participate, Learn, Achieve, Youth Soccer) Program is committed to enhancing the academic performance and development of key social and emotional (SEL) skills of elementary school students through a sports based curriculum.
