And the immensely popular 2013 Speedster i proprietary, emulating the bold statement that famed automotive designer Gordon Buehrig made with his 1936 Auburn Boat Tail Speedster. Like its namesake ghosted on the label, this winemaker selection is a powerful, complex and sophisticated wine. This wine is a head nod to a time when weekends included an open air drive into the countryside with close friends followed by rich wine and fire grilled alfresco cuisine. Mimicking it's namesake, this wine attains pure elegance of balance with soft, rich Merlot complimented by bright acidity of Cabernet Franc to tie together unparalleled beauty of design in this blend.
