Your Highwood experience begins with Club 210, Highwood's historic live entertainment and dining destination. Your opening act is a gourmet meal for two with craft cocktails, followed by the extraordinary sounds of Brass from the Past and Billy and the Jets on Friday March 27th beginning at 8:30 p.m. One of Chicago's premier cover bands, Brass from the Past features an unstoppable six-piece horn section, four-piece rhythm section and three powerful singers who command the stage.
You can return to Highwood another day to apprentice at the highly regarded Miramar, known for its fusion of traditional French dishes with the lost in time cuisine of Cuba. As Chef for the Day, you'll chop, cube, and dice under the direction of Chef Gabriel Viti's skilled staff. A perfect opportunity to unleash your inner foodie, you'll learn how a master gets his kitchen and staff prepped.
Another trip to Highwood will net you a very special four-course dinner for four, featuring traditional Mexican cuisines and samplings of Salt Creek's collection of over 50 tequilas, mezcals, beer and a few other agave based spirits. Not your ordinary taco joint, Salt Creek Tacos is Mexican food as it is prepared in Mexico. Overseen by chef John de Rosier, all ingredients are sourced from local farms and the tortillas are made by hand resulting in the flavor and texture that cannot be matched. This charming restaurant, located in Highland Park, has outdoor seating in the summer (which we promise WILL arrive).
Sweeten one of your visits with this $25 gift card to the incomparable Bent Fork Bakery.
