Celebrate the majesty of the Arizona's natural and cultural beauty with two unique experiences at Taliesin West and the Desert Botanical Garden.

Taliesin West was architect Frank Lloyd Wright's winter home and school in the desert from 1937 until his death in 1959 at the age of 91. Today it is the main campus of The School of Architecture at Taliesin and houses the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation.

Desert Botanical Garden is a 140-acre botanical garden located in Papago Park. Founded by the Arizona Cactus and Native Flora Society in 1937 and established at this site in 1939, the garden now has more than 50,000 plants, in more than 4,000 taxa, one-third of which are native to the area, including 379 species, which are rare, threatened or endangered.

Option 1) Behind the Scenes Tour

This 3 hour experience includes a leisurely mid-morning refreshments in the colorful Taliesin West Fellowship and exploration of the dramatic living spaces including the historic Sun Cottage. Tour is offered at 9:15AM on Mondays and 2:15PM on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Option 2) Combination Desert Walk and Insights Tours

This 90 minute tour showcases the living quarter's wing, the Cabaret, Kiva, and Mr. Wright's private office linked to dramatic terraces, gardens and always overlooking the rugged Sonoran Desert. Tour is offered Saturdays and Sundays at 8:45AM.
