About the Piece
M.C. Reardon's creative work is an expression of her love and respect for nature-how important it is to feel connected with the elements, to understand her holistic place in the environment, and to satisfy her need for soulful connection to the natural world. Her work reflects upon the beauty of wild nature simply enduring; going about its daily business, living in the present moment, at peace? and yet?still influenced by our presence.

This piece, "Serenity," was recently invited to a juried, group show called 'Blur,' for Linus Galleries in Southern California. It is simply raindrops on a garden pond in late autumn, when the chaos of summer slowly winds down towards winter--a time of going within, calming the mind, and connecting with one's true nature.

About the Artist
Reardon is a native Oregonian and a multidisciplinary artist working in the media of painting, writing, mixed-media, and photography. Reardon's images have been exhibited and collected worldwide and are installed in many corporate collections. She has participated in exhibits at the Elmhurst Art Museum in Chicago, the Josephy Center for Arts and Culture, and several other art venues throughout the nation. Many of her images have been featured in publications such as CALYX, a journal of art and literature by women, Pasadena Home, and Don't Take Pictures Magazine.
