Charros is a personal fine art series about Mexico's national sport. Charreada is a clear expression of Mexican heritage. And while these images portray a cultural statement, they also attempt to impress the movement, aesthetic, and beauty within the horsemanship.
Photographer's Bio:
Nicole Franco is a Mexican-American documentary and commercial photographer. She studied at the Santa Reparata International School of Art in Florence, Italy and is a graduate of the Academy of Art University. She is a native to California but has spent the last 6 six years based out of Central Mexico. However, Nicole still frequents Los Angeles for work. Some clients include: Microsoft, San Francisco General Hospital, AVON, El Jimador Tequila, Futerra, The View, ESPN, Driscoll's, The Hospital Infantil Mexico City, Lions Club International, Planet Water, The Wall Street Journal, Huffington Post, Los Angeles Times, People, and People en Espanol magazine.
She is also an educator and teaches documentary classes for the Lucie Foundation's SNAPSHOP! program, a photography workshop for at-risk youth.
Nicole is an Eddie Adams XXIII alumni and a proud member of Women Photograph.
