HOPE is truly stunning when presented in this way, with a Madeira Citrine solitaire (selected, cut and faceted in Delhi, India in 1976) and a figure created with metals mixed with pure gold mounted on wood and ceramic base (2019). "All human wisdom is contained in two words: Wait and Hope." So says artist Jeff Weinberg, who is retired from KU where he most recently held appointments as an Honors Teaching Fellow, assistant to Chancellors Gray-Little and Hemenway, and Assistant Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs. He has served as a board member and trustee of many Lawrence organizations (including Seabury) and has been active in the Lawrence arts community. NOTE: do not expose the figure to direct or indirect heat.
