Duckhorn Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc 2017

Duckhorn Vineyards has been making Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc since 1982. Enticing aromas of grapefruit, melon and lime leap from the glass, followed by tropical notes of lychee, pineapple and passionfruit. On the palate, this Sauvignon Blanc is juicy and bright, with silky layers of fruit balanced by lovely natural acidity and a vibrant streak of minerality. Hints of zesty citrus and subtle baking spices linger throughout a long, focused finish.

The Snitch Chardonnay 2017

When creating their wines, The Prisoner Wine Company always look for fresh approaches to traditional varietals. For The Snitch, they combined Chardonnay from exceptional vineyards in warm Oak Knoll and cool-climate Carneros with just a touch of Roussanne. The result is bright and rich with an unexpected something special.

Fresh tropical fruit, apple, and pear on the nose. The palate offers richness balanced by bright acidity. The Prisoner Wine Company Snitch is a Chardonnay with a twist. The winery puts a tiny amount of Viognier in the blend, adding a lift to the wine. The 2017 vintage is quite appealing. This wine is elevated with great textures and brightened with pretty aromatics.

Bastianich Vespa Bianco 2015

The flagship wine of the Bastianich estate, Vespa Bianco was created to showcase the power and evolution that a great Friulian white can have. Consisting of equal parts Sauvignon and Chardonnay with a measure of Picolit, Vespa becomes more than a sum of its parts, a wine of uncommon complexity and longevity. Layers of fruit supported by a lovely vein of minerality which gives the wine notable continuity on the palate as well as a long, clean finish... Clearly has the stuffing to develop further complexity in bottle.
Medium-to full-bodied, linear and racy. Gorgeous and flavorful finish. Spice and almond undertones. Complex wine. Blend of chardonnay, sauvignon, and picolit.
