Project: Identity Photo is a free digital photography intensive for high school teens. This unique 12 week program, provides an opportunity to learn the basics of photography. Participants explore the medium of photography as a conduit for personal expression and storytelling. Upon successful completion of the program, they get to keep their camera. Russell Young (b.1960) is an American-British artist well known for his bold, iconic silkscreen paintings of pop imagery turned upon themselves to explore the nature of the American counter culture. From an early age, Young was powerfully drawn to the idealized drama of the American dream. Young's ground breaking screen print renditions present a visual journey that bears witness to both the excess and ambition that has helped shape the American Dream. Having studied film, drawing, photography and graphic design in England, Russell Young now lives and works in California and New York.

In 2018 Regional artists created a series of Peter Max-inspired designs on vintage wooden doors which were placed throughout the Bethel Woods campus. Local artist Lindsey Jardine painted this door using Peter Max's cosmic '60s art style and the 2018 special exhibit as inspiration. Lindsey is a multidisciplinary artist. She has studied fine arts at the School of Visual Arts in New York City and art education and teaching at SUNY New Paltz. Being multidisciplinary has paved the way for her to be a teacher and mentor to others by remaining open to technique in any medium and skill level. She lives and works in Saugerties, New York.
