LMR Koichi 1409Y, ranked #2 in the LMCC Sire Summary in April 2017 for IMF% (33.25%) and Marble Fineness (31.56). 1409Y's IMF nearly beat his dam's sire and number one overall marbling king, World K's Yasufuku Jr. With 1409Y's IMF score, he topped other well-known Waguy sires such as Kitaguni Jr., Yojimbo, Itoshigenami, Sanjirou, Shigeshigentani, Michifuku, Fukutsuru 068, and Itozurudoi. 1409Y's Marble Fineness ranking missed the top spot by two-tenths of a percent.
