"About the RIFLCO 45ACP Blue Line Edition Flag:
When creating these flags, it is important to us that the wood tell a story and not get covered by paint or manipulated by stains. Red (Hardiness & Valor) is created from bloodwood, a tight grained dense wood which holds its deep rich color. White (Purity & Innocence) comes from figured maple which has a waved light-colored grain pattern seen throughout the pieces. Blue (Vigilance, Perseverance & Justice) is from beetle kill pine sourced from Black Forest, CO and, while no two pieces are the same, gives a unique, deep bluish gray color. Once-fired brass, in this case nickel-plated self-defense rounds (fired recreationally), is collected and cleaned by our family. This Blue Line Edition flag was created specifically for the Pikes Peak Region Peace Officers Memorial in support of all that it stands for.

I was born and raised in Rhode Island, and my wife in Florida. After meeting in New England, we made the cross-country move and now call Colorado our home. While we originated from different backgrounds and locations, it is our shared passion for the United States of America and the freedoms we are honored to hold that helped inspire the creation of these flags. Using only natural oils and woods, RIFLCO (Rhode Island, Florida, Colorado) aims to emphasize the characteristics of the wood that make each flag unique. We hope the brilliant red, white, and blue will remind you of what each color represents. As we pass this flag on to you, we hope to share some of what is stands for; respect, peace, love, and unity."
