Hand-crafted by Laughing Bear Outfitters, LLC, the "O. Clarkii Behnkei" is a 9ft., 4wt., 4pc., Fast Action fly rod built on a Rod Geeks Carbon 4 blank and coated in a two color, high gloss, heat treated acrylic. It features gold plated, stainless steel guides and gold plated, anodized aluminum reel seat hardware. The rod itself, designed to represent the features of the Snake River Cutthroat Trout, features a metallic gold primary section and a metallic red load section. It is wrapped in Pro Wrap metallic winding threads and features rod furniture turned down from stabilized White Ash, and detailed in the resembling spot patterning of the infamous Snake River inhabitant for which this rod is themed. This rod is carried in a matching, custom Laughing Bear Outfitters rod sock and a rod tube airbrushed in Cutthroat pattern, also featuring the locally renowned "Stream Boat" graphic - powder coated onto the cap. The final touch which, ties this rod's theme together is the custom, metallic lettered, feature labeling placed above the handle on the primary stick. It reads: "O. Clarkii Behnkei."
