Enjoy two (2) rounds of sporting clay targets from the Nashville Gun Club! (Two Rounds is 200 clays)
The Nashville Gun Club (NGC) is the largest shotgun sports venue in the state. The Club was formed in 1876 and has been located at several sites, including the Belle Meade Plantation and the Nashville Airport, and now its current home on the banks of the Cumberland River in West Nashville.
The club offers Skeet, Trap, Five Stand & International Bunker Fields along with two Sporting Clays Courses. Sporting clays is a form of clay pigeon shooting often described as "golf with a shotgun" because a typical course includes from 10 to 20 different shooting stations laid out over natural terrain. Similar to trap and skeet, which are games of repeatable target presentations, sporting clays simulates the unpredictability of live-quarry shooting, offering a great variety of trajectories, angles, speeds, elevations, distances, and target sizes. Sporting clay courses are designed to simulate the hunting of ducks, pheasants, other upland birds, and even rabbits.
The Nashville Gun Club offers a variety of sporting clay course options. The large course offers 20 stations for beginner and intermediate shooting ability stations and five tournament shooting ability stations. They also have a separate small bore sporting clays course with 6 stations.
