The Gonds are the largest Adivasi Community in India, whose origin can be traced to the pre-Aryan era.
The Gonds traditionally painted on the mud walls of their houses. Using a variety of modern media, they created depictions of their natural and mythological worlds. Today, these are one of the most sought after artworks in the commercial market.
