Railroad Spike Bottle Opener
Vintage (50 years old +/-) railroad spike used to hold down railroad tracks that span the United States of America.
This railroad spike has been re-purposed into a bottle opener. The opener part was hand ground to shape and then the spike was heated in a forge until it was glowing yellow, placed into a vise and twisted to give the swirl appearance. Then painted with a durable black metal paint. Enjoy a part of American History while opening your favorite beverage.
Tomahawk
These matching pair of Tomahawks were made from 2 -16" used Farriers Rasp. The Rasp had a 3.5" section cut off the end, the rasp was then heated in a forge and folded with the 3.5" section placed in the middle. The rasp was forge welded together and shaped by hammer and anvil. The handles are curly maple sticks that were hand hewed and fitted to the tomahawks, then boiled linseed oil rubbed into the handles. The tomahawks have been coated with bluing and lightly oiled to prevent rusting. Keep clean and lightly oiled.
Warning-----These tomahawks are not toy's and are very dangerous, they could cause injury or death if misused. They also could break or shatter if hit by a hard object. Use extreme caution when handling them.
