Nestled in the 2,200-acre Clifftops community, it's 90 miles from Nashville on the Cumberland Plateau between Monteagle and Sewanee and a half hour from Chattanooga. Privacy and relaxation abound in this hand-crafted retreat, near historic Gen. Kirby-Smith Point. Inside, you'll be cosseted by comfy rooms appointed with antiques and overstuffed chairs, walnut floors and mountain stone work, and details created by local craftsmen reflecting the heritage of by-gone times. Baths: Two full baths, 1 up, 1 down. Outdoor shower for warm weather. Downstairs bath contains a slipper tub and separate shower. Upstairs bath has a door between the sink and the shower/tub/commode to enable showering privately.

The Clifftops lake is a stroll away and also a clean and lovely place to swim. Also provided are WIFI, ice maker, microwave, garbage disposal, dishwasher, apartment-sized washer/dryer, linens, basic toiletries, coffee, and a modern kitchen stocked with coffee, paper products, and basic pantry items. If you have small children who may need a mattress protector for sleeping, please advise.
