What's the deal?
PADI Open Water Certification for first time scuba diver. At the end of this four (4) day intensive certificate program, diver will be eligible to dive all over the world up to 60 ft.

How does it work?
You will need four (4) days total to complete the certification. The classes can be broken down in three (3) categories:

Knowledge Development - You will watch 5 videos corresponding to 5 chapters in the book. You will then complete the 5 quizzes and Final exam. We usually break this down into two Saturday mornings.

Pool Session - Once you've completed the knowledge development for the day, we will then gear you up and head to the pool around 3 PM on Saturday Afternoon. The session usually goes from 3:30 PM to 7:30 PM. We will be teaching you all the skills necessary to then have a safe diving experience in the ocean. First session includes basic skills whereas second session includes more advanced skills.

Ocean Sessions - After your first pool session you will be eligible to start your first ocean session. You will spend the day aboard our dive boat in the Channel Island National Park. These waters teem with life due to the cold, nutrient-rich waters, making every dive a new experience. Most trips will yield three (3) dives.

• Saturday morning - Knowledge Review Classes (Chapters 1-3)
• Saturday afternoon - 1st Pool Session
• Saturday (or Sunday) - 1st Channel Islands Boat Trip (all day)
• Saturday morning - Knowledge Review Classes (Chapters 4-5 + Final Exam)
• Saturday afternoon - 2nd Pool Session
• Saturday (or Sunday) - 2nd Channel Island Boat Trip (all day)

IMPORTANT: Winner must contact Blue Holic Scuba within 90 days of winning this package to fill out an application. They will then have one (1) year to complete their certification.
