Due South Outfitters is owned and operated by husband and wife duo Patrick and Meredith Sessoms (pictured above). The two are consummate anglers and offer the only fly shop in the Boone Area that is owned and operated by a full-time fly fishing guide. Patrick is the head guide of Due South Outfitters, averaging over 200 days guiding each season. He was formally trained at Sweetwater Guide School of Livingston, Montana and has a degree in Sustainable Development from Appalachian State University. Patrick proudly was voted as the top fly fishing guide in the Blue Ridge Region of 2017 by Blue Ridge Outdoors Magazine. Meredith is the backbone of Due South Outfitters. She acts as the Due South Guide Trip Coordinator, ensuring that all five of the Due South Guides stay booked and running smoothly. On top of coordinating each fishing trip, Meredith also acts as the head manager and purchaser for the Due South Outfitters Fly Shop. Whether you are an advanced angler or simply looking into entering the sport of Fly Fishing, Meredith and Patrick will gladly share their experiences and expertise with you!
