A float through the steep walled Gunnison Gorge, A National Conservation Area, is one of the top fly fishing trips in the lower 48. Just downstream of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park, the Gunnison Gorge features unrivaled scenery and geology. The sighting of big horn sheep, mule deer, river otters and eagles will only heighten your appreciation.Most importantly, excellent fly fishing for "Trophy" Rainbow and Brown Trout abounds. Several class II and III rapids are encountered during this 14 mile stretch-providing both fantastic fly fishing and exciting whitewater. Multi-day trips are slower paced with time for fishing afoot. This unparalleled 2 day wilderness float fishing adventures are conducted at the highest level of professionalism with top quality equipment and experienced personnel.
