Organize a walking tour for you and a group of family members or friends in Frederick Law Olmsted's last major park, created in 1880. You'll see old stone ruins, the abandoned 1912 Bear Dens from the original Zoo, and Schoolmaster Hill where Ralph Waldo Emerson once lived. You can choose to walk through deep woods, over a scenic bridge and pond, or around the second oldest public golf course in the U.S. and where the very first golf ball was hit in this country. This lively tour will be led by the former director of the Franklin Park Coalition. It can be as active or as meandering as you choose.
