U.S. - Mexico Border: Beyond The Headlines

See it for yourself instead of reading about it on Instagram. The U.S.- Mexico Border is an enormously complex and varied space that has been changing rapidly over the last decade and a half. As refugees flow north in increasing numbers and new sections of border fence are proposed for Southern Arizona, visit our international boundary with Mexico away from the ports of entry under the guidance of an experienced border researcher, University of Arizona Professor, and visual artist David Taylor.

The package includes:

• Day long tour of the U.S.-Mexico Border for up to four people.
• Learn about cultural and natural history, border security, immigration, and smuggling.
• Cross the border at the Nogales Port of Entry for one night stay at Hotel Fray Marcos de Niza in downtown Nogales Sonora.
• Dinner at La Roca Restaurant & Bar.
• Morning tour of downtown Nogales concluding with lunch at Taquerias Lupita's. Afternoon activities resume along the border.

All transportation between Tucson and Nogales included via SUV.
