Go on a safari without leaving California! Discover wildest Africa in the heart of wine country! At Safari West, every day means adventure as we journey out in search of herds of wildebeest, romping rhinos and towering giraffes. From ring-tailed lemurs to the dazzling zebra, nearly 900 animals from over 90 unique species roam through our 400-acre preserve.

Go on a rhino encounter and get up close and personal with Safari West's most massive inhabitants! Journey out to the white rhino paddock with one of our keepers in this exclusive behind-the-scenes encounter. Get so close you can hear these multi-ton mammals breathing! During this intimate encounter, you'll come face-to-face with a southern white rhinoceros and come away changed forever.

Your adventure includes an overnight stay in a luxurious Safari West tent. Imported from Botswana and customized here on property, each of our thirty tents sports a private viewing deck, en-suite bathroom, polished hardwood floors, and because it's camping, all the wildlife sounds of the Sonoma Serengeti!

Before you settle into an evening in your luxury tent, join us for a meal at the Savannah Café (included in the package).
