After a career in advertising, long-time Bucks County resident Susan Goodrich discovered bead weaving. She quickly found her patience, rhythm, and peace in the painstaking technique, hand-crafting beautiful designs-one bead at a time.

Using seed beads, mainly from Japan and the Czech Republic, Goodrich draws from a range of different beading cultures: Native American, African, Russian, Japanese, among others. She crafts "textiles" as much as jewelry, making pieces that are wonderfully light and comfortable to wear, and silky in the hand. Her pieces are not just for wearing: they are meant to be held and felt like worry beads.

The winning bidder will take home this lovely bracelet handwoven in a herringbone stitch using Czech glass beads in a red Picasso finish. The weaving is complemented by a elegant toggle clasp made of white bronze.
