Looking back to the origins of the House, one can imagine Joseph Krug in his cellar working like a Music Composer: tasting a vast array of unique wines, the Krug instruments, and painstakingly taking notes and organizing flavors and aromas.

The winner of this lot will enjoy the Krug Champagne 2004 Soloist to Orchestra in-home experience will take you on a sensorial experience perfectly paired with the cuisine of Chef Ashley Christensen and curated by Sommelier Cappie Peete of AC Restaurants.

Dinner will be prepared for up to 6 people by the outstanding Ashley Christensen, who is one of Frankie Lemmon's most generous supporters. She is also the acclaimed chef and owner of many of Raleigh's most beloved restaurants, including Poole's Diner, Beasley's, Death & Taxes, and Poole'side Pies. In 2014, Ashley was awarded the James Beard Award for "Best Chef: Southeast," and in 2019 she was awarded the James Beard Award in the "Outstanding Chef" category. Ashley was named Chef of the Year by Eater.com in 2017. She is also the author of the cookbook, Poole's: Recipes and Stories from a Modern Diner, which was published by Ten Speed Press in fall 2016 and named one of the top cookbooks of the fall by the New York Times.
