Guided by its historian-in-residence and hosted by its executive director, up to six people will be treated to an in-depth tour of the Charles River Museum of Industry & Innovation. Located in historic Waltham, the Museum resides in the world's first integrated mill, created by Francis Cabot Lowell beginning in 1813, which established the business and manufacturing models that still power the American Industrial Revolution. The Museum's collection of artifacts representing innovations from the region's watch making, car manufacturing, bicycle building, and other industries will appeal to historians and engineers of all ages. From its working belt-driven machine shop to the front-wheel drive car hand-built in 1925, you will have VIP access to its many marvels. Free Family Membership, event passes, and souvenirs included.
