North Shores Rehoboth Beach Cottage Saturday, June 15 - Saturday, June 22, 2019.

This classic Rehoboth beach cottage is located in the beautiful, peaceful, amenity-rich North Shores community. The cottage sleeps up to ten with five bedrooms and three baths. It is an active family's dream: a short walk to a private beach (umbrella rental included!), swimming pool, tennis courts and marina. Kayak in the ocean or Lewes Rehoboth Canal (kayak included with the house and can be launched from the marina).

Just around the corner is Cape Henlopen State Park where you can experience the scenic and every-changing landscape along a three-mile paved nature trail ideal for hiking or biking (the house includes two adult beach bikes). Or take a trail break and climb to the top of the World War II observation tower and visit the historic Fort Miles. For a change of pace, ride your bikes into town for fabulous restaurants, shopping and fun evening strolling along the boardwalk or listening to great music on the bandstand.

Several porches were added in 2018 which has significantly expanded the outdoor living space of this home. There is a relaxing screened porch with a gas fireplace and large eating area. A screened sleeping porch has a fabulous hanging queen size bed for reading, napping or even sleeping overnight!

The front porch is a great place to hang out on the swing and relax. The interior of the home has also been upgraded with a ductless cooling and heating system. Inside, the family room has updated decor and lots of games and books for those rainy days or lazy evenings. It also includes a large flat screen TV that you can use to watch TV and movies on Netflix and Amazon Prime. The free WIFI internet access has been upgraded with new equipment to increase capacity and speed.

The updated kitchen has a breakfast bar, wine rack, and includes all appliances you will need and then some: full size refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, crockpot, vegetable/rice steamer, Vitamix blender, ice cream maker, Keurig coffee brewing system, etc. The large round dining room table, just off the kitchen is perfect for family meals or playing games.

The first-floor master bedroom includes a queen-sized bed and bath. Two upstairs bedrooms have queen beds and the other two bedrooms have two twin beds. The upstairs includes two hall bathrooms. All bedrooms have been updated with new memory foam mattress toppers, fluffy pillows, new rugs and bedspreads. All bathrooms include a hair dryer so no need to pack yours.

Outside you will find an expanded back deck with a large gas grill, dining table and chairs for relaxing. Also added is a spacious outdoor shower. In the newly landscaped yard you will find a picnic table (great for eating crabs!), and game area for family fun with corn hole and giant outdoorJenga.
