Two lucky couples are invited to Napa Valley to learn the art of blending in a one-of- a-kind experience hosted by Jean-Noel Fourmeaux and the winemaking team at VGS Chateau Potelle. Be part of only 20 guests invited to Napa Valley for the annual VGS Winemaker Weekend September 20-22, 2019 where you will blend and take home six bottles of your own custom labeled wine. While on your winemaking excursion, enjoy accommodations at the Westin Verasa Hotel in the heart of Napa Valley.

Begin your winemaking weekend with a welcome reception and dinner at VGS Chateau Potelle. Get to know Jean-Noel and his team at the VGS Tasting House and Garden in St. Helena while enjoying a relaxed evening of great food and library wines in preparation for the main event. The next morning, Jean-Noel will lead a seminar about the characteristics and flavor profiles of each varietal: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Syrah. Through the artistry of blending, Jean-Noel and his team will show you where the science stops and the art begins. Complete your morning by crafting your own wine with Jean-Noel and General Manager Matthew Regan as your guides.

Take a break from blending to enjoy a custom wine country lunch at CIA at COPIA paired with VGS wines. End your evening at the Michelin-rated LaToque Restaurant for a private champagne reception on the terrace before enjoying a five-course meal designed by Chef Ken Frank to perfectly compliment the accompanying VGS wines.

Rejoin the group the next morning for a farewell brunch in the winery's garden. While this is where the fun ends for the rest of the Winemaker Weekend attendees, yours is just beginning. Join Jean-Noel that evening for a private sunset dinner cruise of the San Francisco Bay on aboard the M/Y C'est Fou. Each couple will also take home a signed, etched and hand-painted 3L of 2016 Fourmeaux; the record-breaking wine from the 2018 Napa Valley Barrel Auction. After your winemaker weekend, returning to Napa will never be the same.
