One of the more tight and backward efforts in the vintage, the 2013 Pinot Noir Lancelot Pisoni Vineyard has a focused, pure and edgy style in its sweet black cherry, blackberry, spring flowers and distinct wet rock-like minerality. It shows more rose petal and floral notes with air, but also closed down slightly, so give bottles another year or two in the cellar.
