Oxford is also one of the top visitor destinations in the UK. It is a beautiful city of stunning architecture, history and culture. Whether you are contemplating an education at Oxford, or simply looking for a lovely place to visit while on holiday, why not visit Oxford and get this valuable insiders view of the University including a private tour and tea.

This package includes:

  • Tour and afternoon tea for 4 people,
  • A tour of the central historic site including: Christ Church College, Brasenose College, and the Bodleian area. (These include the most famous and photographed sites at Oxford),
  • The tour will include Oxford's main cathedral located at Christ Church College as well as the extremely old main library and the dining hall which is famous for being featured in the Harry Potter films,
  • Maybe even an opportunity to have a private viewing of some choice historic manuscripts at the main library.

About your guide:

Rowena E. Archer is a medieval historian who specializes in the 14-15th century during the age of the Hundred Years War and has specific interest in the lives of medieval women. She is a Fellow of Brasenose College and a lecturer at Christ Church College, Oxford.

This trip would be best taken in term time when the students are in residence. Term time is roughly October to November, mid-January to mid-March, or May-June. (Oxford has three 8-week terms when the university is in session).
