Exclusive Curry Canyon Ranch Guided Hike, Property Tour, and Lunch for 10 with Live Music!

You and up to 9 of your friends will visit the majestic signature property of Save Mount Diablo - Curry Canyon Ranch - nestled within the Mount Diablo range in Contra Coast County. Curry Canyon Ranch features amazing views, an old spacious ranch house, and a creek running right by its doors. This 1,080-acre expanse is accessible only at the end of a private road, formerly belonging to a ranch family, now protected by Save Mount Diablo, a leading certified land trust.

Features of your day:

Hike: This moderate hike will be led by naturalist and acclaimed photographer, Scott Hein, who will take you on a 2.5 mile, 200-acre loop with views of rolling hills, oak woodland, and wildflowers where you may catch views of eagles, peregrine falcons, coyotes, ground squirrels, and other wildlife. Enjoy unique views of Mount Diablo and North Peak. [Note: This hike can be modified to be a shorter, easier hike at your request].

An alternative to Hike: If you or your friends prefer, you can experience Curry Canyon with a stroll along quiet, peaceful Curry Canyon Road, and then relax in Adirondack chairs at the ranch house - mountainside or on the patio with a book and a glass of wine. If some of your group goes hiking, when they get back, our naturalist hike leader can provide a brief talk on the local botanical and geologic resources of the area.

Gourmet Lunch: After a tour of the house, enjoy a delicious gourmet lunch on the patio of Curry Canyon Ranch, with a close-up mountain view in this beautiful setting.

Live Music: The Blue-Eyed Grass Band will entertain you as you eat and relax in this peaceful and charming canyon setting.
