Casa Estanco De Tabaco - Old Town Cartagena!

This incredible and enormous seven-bedroom mansion has an ideal location right in the heart of Old Town Cartagena, near all of the best historical sights, restaurants, and shops. You will enjoy this magical place for seven days!

Located in the heart of Cartagena's Historic District, Casa Estanco del Tabaco is a true jewel within the old city of Cartagena de Indias. Just short walk to cafes, boutiques, restaurants and nightclubs, this beautiful family home is only recently available for short term rental. The views from the mirador of Casa de Estanco del Tabaco are absolutely breathtaking. This house boasts the tallest original structure in the Historic District. More than 400 years old, this house retains most of it's original structure and floor plan. Acclaimed Colombian architect, Luis Restrepo restored this home to highlight and showcase the classic Colonial style of the period in which it was originally built. The home's meticulously picked furnishings are mostly antiques from Indonesia, India and local Colombian artisans.

The outdoor space is stunning with its indoor/outdoor patio areas that are set under high ceilings and arches and decorated just as beautifully as the rest of the home with couches, tables, lighting, and fans for comfort. Surrounded by immaculate gardens and sweeping palms and adorned with scattered lounge chairs and patio tables, it is truly a secret garden. In the middle of this oasis is the spectacular pool that is surrounded by high walls and lovely greens. A staircase near the pool leads to the rooftop patio, another peaceful escape, offering sweeping views of the city.

The living room is extremely spacious with various seating areas that are all decorated with alluring, ornate furniture and eye-catching antiques. The décor of the home follows an old-world Spanish style and is captivating and elegant. There is a fully-equipped kitchen and a large dining area with a massive dining room table, fit for the entire family.

Each of the bedrooms is uniquely decorated with its own style but still following the Spanish theme. The master bedroom has a large king-size bed and a private bathroom. The other remaining bedrooms have a combination of queen, double, and twin-sized beds.

Day trips to the islands by boat to Baru to a private club called Punta Iguana can also be arranged, but will come with an additional cost.

The house comes with a cook, 2 butlers, and 2 cleaning staff. Food and wine are an additional cost.
