FB27555 Ms Shigemichi 007 is a well balanced group C cow 40% Tajima, 40% Kedaka, 13% Tottori and 6% Itozakura. She is also an SCD AA/7 which are very desirable Wagyu traits. Ms. Shigemichi is also free of all known genetic defects as is the sire in this pedigree.
This donor's sire Shigefuku is a line bred bull that is predictable in his ability to pass onto his offspring genetics vitally needed for long term improvement of Wagyu in the US. Those traits include higher growth rates and an improved milking ability in females. Shigefuku offspring like our donor in this pedigree are very consistent and many are among the most correct Wagyu.
This donor also traces back to Michifuku who was the previous number one marbling sire in the Wagyu Sire Summary. Michifuku is also a 100% Tajima adding to this donor a good combination of lower birth weights and high marbling ability.
The sire of this mating FB2907 - Represents a very powerful strain of the Wagyu breed. He is 75% Tajima but still is known to produce offspring's that are tall with a long body. His dam Suzutani FB1617, is recognized as one of the "Top" brood cows in the Wagyu breed, being the dam of the Great Sanjirou FB2501 as well as Suzutani genetics. Shigeshigetani is half bother with Sanjirou, but more closely bred then most, Suzutani is mother to both. Shigeshigetani Sire is Haruki 2 FB1614 the half-brother of Michifuku FB1615, & both were sired by the same bull, Monjiro 11550 FB201.
