16 x 24 Canvas named "Great Gray Owl", Jackson, Wyoming, Grand Teton National Park

The Great Gray Owl is a large owl with the largest facial disc of any raptor. The face is typically gray with startling yellow eyes. When they fly, you hear a loud whoosh as the flap their wings. Gray Grays are found throughout the Northern Hemisphere and tend to be permanent resident in an area unless they need to move for food. This owl was working a field for voles and provided great opportunity to watch behavior and photograph.
