Artist Marsha Markwalder Bio:

Marsha is originally from San Jose, CA, and has lived in Colorado Springs since 1981. She first learned to paint with oils while expecting her first child 42 years ago. Two years later, twins arrived, resulting in a painting hiatus. Four years ago, a dear friend invited her to a watercolor class, and she has been painting ever since. Every Tuesday, Marsha paints with friends who challenge her to paint a variety of different subjects. She uses bold colors making her paintings unique. She is always taking art classes to improve.

Marsha and her husband, David, have been married for 50 years. David recently retired from being a Presbyterian Minister and US Air Force Chaplain. They have three beautiful daughters, two son-in-laws and three precious granddaughters. Marsha has been a professional wallpaper hanger, owned her own ceramic business, and has been a full-time realtor for the past 27 years. She loves people, watercolor painting, plays the violin, enjoys photography, entertaining and gardening.
