Children with cancer are familiar with a world of social distancing and the unexpected. They don't quit, nor can we. Let's come together to give them a hand! The Above & Beyond Gala is ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation's largest fundraiser that provides emotional, financial and educational support to childhood cancer patients, survivors and their families.
This year's event is going virtual on September 19. No matter where you live, you can participate in this special evening that will include ASK stories, silent and live auctions, the Above & Beyond donation drive and a few special surprises. With 1-2 childhood cancer diagnoses per week in Central Virginia, the numbers add up quickly for families that need emotional, financial and educational care as they navigate the complex and stressful issues of cancer treatment. Your support will enable ASK to be there to provide something as big as financial assistance to pay their rent this month, or something as little as a snack, a toy, or a shoulder to cry on. All funds raised by the ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation stay right here in Central Virginia and directly impact the lives of children with cancer and their families.
