Enjoy a $100 Gift Certificate to The Kennison Restaurant. The Kennison's name pays homage to one of Chicago's most notorious legends, David Kennison. A fixture in the Lincoln Park neighborhood in the 1800s, Kennison came to Chicago and touted his grand past: being the last surviving member of the Boston Tea Party, a soldier of the revolutionary war, in addition to other outrageous exploits. He was so well-liked that when he passed away at the ripe old age of 115, his funeral had the largest attendance recorded at that time.
