Three more from Bordeaux, all 2000 vintage, including an outstanding "Second Growth" Bordeaux

One bottle each of:

2000 Le Carillon de L'Angelus Saint-Emillion Grand Cru, Bordeaux, France

2000 Chateau Ferrand Lartigue Saint-Emillion Grand Cru, Bordeaux, France
Received a rating of 88 from Wine Spectator: "A crisp and refined red. Beautiful aromas of crushed berries, earth, spice and toasted oak follow through to a medium-bodied palate, with medium, well-integrated tannins and a fresh finish. A lot of bright acidity. Best after 2006."

2000 Chateau Cos d'Estournel Saint-Estephe Grand Cru, Bordeaux, France
This "Second Growth" Bordeaux received ratings of 96 and 92 twice in three different tastings by Wine Spectator:
96: "Absolutely gorgeous on the nose, with currants, blackberries and freshly cut flowers. Full-bodied, with ultrafine tannins and a solid core of fruit. This goes on and on on the palate. The essence of class and refinement. Relatively good value, considering the superb quality. No better Cos since 1989. Best after 2010. 20,830 cases made."
92: "This is showing noticeable maturity, with dark plum and currant fruit flavors now well-ingrained with singed cedar, tobacco and bay notes, but the structure remains remarkably polished, with a caressing feel through the finish, where a hint of warm pebbles peeks. --Blind 2000 Bordeaux retrospective (December 2015). Drink now through 2020. 20,833 cases made."
92: "Mature, with alluring tobacco and menthol notes, backed by a note of smoldering charcoal. The currant and blackberry fruit shows a decidedly mulled edge through the finish.--Non-blind Cos-d'Estournel vertical (December 2015). Drink now through 2020. 20,833 cases made."
