Cecil Warfel, a Colorado born artist, currently resides in Smyrna, Georgia, splitting time in his studio with time on location, painting from life. From each foray, stream, or meadow, Cecil creates new and exciting works. One may find Cecil's works captured on film or perhaps on canvas, from a quick sketch as well as comprehensive studies requiring many hours to complete. At a pasture's edge or on a lonely road, one may find him painting in the rain. Whether the media is photograph, watercolor, pastel, or acrylic, the insight is unmistakably "A Cecil!" A study of each photograph or painting will evoke a sense of becoming part of the work's atmosphere, enabling the viewer to share the creative thoughts of the artist.
